On the border of Vlăhița can be found military constructions from World War II., built in 1943, as part of the circular fortification of Szeklerland. On the field can be seen intact and ruined shelters, anti-tank trenches, machine gun nests. They can be visited as part of a 2-3 hour or half-day program, with a guided tour, on foot or by horse-drawn carriage and a picnic.
